Dr. Chantell Wilson Link brings more than 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, having served in various executive leadership roles to include university president, vice president and assistant provost of academics, to name a few.

With a passion for innovation in higher education and the corporate/business sector, Dr. Link has worked at some of the leading, transformative educational institutions, where she was responsible for introducing peer based academic supports, AI chatbot outreach to increase student engagement, and the First Year Experience Initiative, to name a few. 

Additionally, she has experience in the community college setting, having served in various roles to include Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Success for one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing community college systems.

Committed to service, Dr. Link is passionate about community outreach and development, where she's actively involved with several organizations, including the Texas Spring Cypress Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, Jack & Jill of America (Life member), and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (Silver Star) and has served on various community boards to include Leadership Houston and previously served as the Treasurer for the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) to name a few.

Dr. Link continues her board service locally and contributes at the national level as Commissioner (Public) for ACCET.   

She is a native of Dallas, Texas and currently resides in Houston, Texas. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and has also completed professional development with a certificate in Leadership in the Virtual World through the Harvard Extension School. Dr. Link is also a practicing licensed professional counselor associate.

She is married with one son (Michael Hines) who resides in Austin, TX and has two bonus daughters. For relaxation and fun, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends and vacationing with her childhood friends/family who reside in Miami, Florida.
